I also love that place. You can get 60 to 80 fish a day there when it's hot. I have a lot of good stories there. It's a really good place to get some casting practice. One time, we where fishing outside the weeds and casting towards the reeds from 40 feet or so. I made a good cast right next to the cattails, let my Zug Bug sink for a few seconds and stripped 3 or 4 times. I got a good hit and brought the fish 3/4ths the way back to me. The line broke. I realized my knot had failed. I tied on a small red marabu leech and cast it in the exact same place. Let it sink and stripped it a few times. Just like the cast 5 minutes earlier. A fish hit and I brought in a big fat Bluegill. To my surprise that fish had my Zug Bug in it's mouth as well! It could hardly fit both flies in it's mouth. I don't know if it was hungry or defending it's turf but it sure was fun. That shows you that when it's on, they will hit almost anything. green, red, small, or large. Other times they can be a bit picky, but always fun. I hope I can get over there this year before the bugs take over. Humpy
