[#008000][frown] Before I left for Bishop in the Eastern Sierras I went to the DWP's website to check the weather, wind conditions, water flow etc. Temps were running in the high 70s, water flow about 250, wind around 2 mph. Bull s***. Except for the temperature, the winds were gusting at over 25 mph, river was flowing at over 600 and it is quite stained. Needless to say the fly fishermen were nowhere to be found. Did run into several folks throwing iron with their spinning gear who wheren't having any luck. Met some nice folks at a local fly shop but they wren't too encouraging about conditions changing soon. Then I stopped in at the local Elks Lodge for my afternoon marty. Several brothers had just come back from fishing but there wasn't any bragging going on here either. Did get some suggestions as to where I can do some wading without the fear of getting my waders ripped off. However, the location they mentioned was about 2000 feet higher so who knows what the wind condition will be. Just thought that I would let MacFly know what is going on and that his little black cloud is big enough for two. LOL Well at least I can get on line here and read about our BFTers[/#008000]
