My buddy has the x-86. He reset to the factory settings and it worked much better. Also, you might want to re-read the manual..[url "http://www.lowrance.com/upload/Lowrance/Documents/Manuals/X7585_91201.pdf"]Here is a link for your finder[/url] in case you lost it.
