Common logic shows that the two species of fish which are illegally transplanted the most, Smallmouth Bass, and Walleye, also have the most fanatical following of anglers.
If they didn't want to catch the fish, why bother planting them?
Yes, I do believe someone from Grantsville or Tooele, or any of the outlying communities, transplanted Smallmouth bass into Grantsville, and god only knows about Settlement Canyon, Vernon, or even Rush Lake. A bass angler. If you don't like the fishies, why take the time and effort?
Indeed a good portion of the bass community do use live wells. A good camra and scale meets the same ends. Banning live wells wouldn't affect Utah angling one way or another, besides taking one vessil of illegal stocking away.
If you cared about Utah's angling future, you'd see the logic in that and fight to change the current trends. I know I am.
