I don't consider the live well in my boat to be any different than the fish basket attached to my tube. I like the fish that I'm going to keep to stay alive until it's time to go under the knife. The fresher they are the better. A live well is also a handy way to cull fish (except for trout). I don't fish tournaments, but I'm not about to give up my livewell either. I have to agree with Bassrods, banning livewells is one of the most ridiculous ideas I've heard in some time. Maybe we could talk the dwr into only letting us put our boats in one lake per week, that way we can't transport anything.
