To get into the fish at Causey you really need to have a boat. I have never really done well from shore. I guess if you have no other choice, I would go down to where the inlet comes in from the scout camp. I have seen people catch them with bait over there.
The best place to fish is in the very back. The fish are stacked up in there right now and fishing is hot. A freind and I landed about 40 fish in about 2 hours. They were all small bows and splake, but pretty fun. The best way to fish causey is with a small boat and trolling motor.

There are quite a few places to camp up by Causey and people do it all the time.
