I agree fluorocarbon is the way to go that is why I use berkley vanish.I tried P-line in 8lb test and I dont know if Igot some bad line or what but My first trip I kept breaking off every time I set the hook,I wet the line while tying my knots just like I do with all lines,It was only on two of my fishing rods and the vanish was on my other two,good thing or I would have run out of jig heads.I wont use anything else when using 8lb test,one added benfit is it doesn't break down like mono,and have very low memory.
