I suppose one of us should chime in. "You should have let that fish go, I am so

I have no problem with people eating bass as a bass fisherman. I prefer perch and walleye and wiper and the occasional smallie but don't let some 'bass huggers' label all of us bass fishermen as yuppies who don't believe in keeping bass for table fare. They are actually quite good to eat.
BUT if somebody catches a trophy bass I do hate seeing it on a stringer. Other states wouldn't be so bad but Utah isn't managed as a bass fishing state so it's up to the bigguns to keep up the population.
