Great report! I stopped by the n. marina on my way home from Honeyville last tuesday for 20 minutes. I had a silver/blue rattlin rapala and just fished from the bank in the channel. irst cast nothing, then the next cast i threw it by the blue drum and started bringing it back across. About 2/3 the way back it stopped! Drag started peeling off my Revo and i knew it was a wiper. After a good 40 second fight, i landed a huge 23"er! I was stoked to have fresh wiper for lunch. the next cast i hooked up for a few seconds but that was the only fish landed. The water was very murky. Probably why crawlers are working so well for you. Next time try half shrimp/half crawler. You might be surprised.[]
