Does water skiing boats, pulling skiers or fast boats, reduce the fishing % when trolling or fishing from the bank?

i look at it like this.. the skiers have as much of a right to use the water as the fishermen do.. but there needs to be some give and take.. and some lakes there is just not room for both.. lakes like yuba there is plenty of room! and the water is warm and cleen to the most part. i can see why they flock there.. i would to if i were a skier.. some of the other lakes are cold and not much room for skiers and fishermen.. in them there should be a no sking pwc rule in place for them.. i know in So Cal and other states the lakes have had to be sectioned off for skiers so as not to disrupet the fishermen.. if they try and go out of the ski area ticket and loss of lake rights for one year.. so they behave them self's much better.. other states i have seen where they have put speed limits on the lake.. some 10 mph some 20 mph.. and then some put motor limits as well or put not pwc's on them as well.. i think it will not be long before this start happoning here in utah.. the more the power guy's insest on showing off there power to those that could care less the titer the noose will get around there neck's.. the bad thing is the state well probly wait tell someone get's killed or hurt realy bad before they do anything.. oh and my look on if fishing is better or worse..

NO i have had just as good of day's fishing with the power squad as bad day's with out..
