im jealous! if the river is low try doing this:

where the "boulder field is.... drive to the bridge where it croses the river, park and walk down stream on the opposite side of the river (ie the road is on one side, walk down the other side) to where the river gets deep and slow. try adding a small pice of split shot to your leader and fish that slow deep moving section. i garuntee success. if you dont hook up with at least one NICE rainbow, and at least one decent brown Trout_Slayer will buy you a case of beer. since its a little bit of a jaunt, nothing extreme, take water/drinks and a snack. there is a GIGANTIC boulder/slab of rock, that you can stand on and cast with no interferance from weeds on your back casts with your fly rod. i have actually fallen asleep on that rock many many times, its just that releaxing. one word of caution though, the second you think the water is comming up start heading back! good luck!
