[cool]I don't pour plastics. That's about all that I buy. The shad were probably plain old Sassy Shad...made by Mister Twister. They were some of the first on the market. Today there are a whole bunch of manufacturers. And you are right. Some of the new stuff is soft. Fish like it, but it gets chewed up fast.

About donating rods. As you can tell from the picture, I only have barely enough rods for my own use. However, if I was to adopt you, you might have access to some of my gear. But, since I have three kids too many already, there ain't much chance of me adopting you.

Nice try, though.
