Awesome, you have earned my respect. Too bad the idiot who shot it walked away which brings me to wondering. What happens if you do 'accidentally' shoot a cow (or doe)? Should you contact the authorities to let them know what happened, are you putting yourself in jeopardy? How would you contact the f&g while up in the hills if you did have reception? I stopped a buddy a few years ago from shooting because of all the does mixed in with three bucks. (he is not the best aim). I'm not justifying taking a risky shot but you know it happens every year and people just turn their back. What is the right thing to do? I'm not sure how to put this as I would hopefully not take a questionable shot but what if?
