Regarding spearfishing at Fish Lake

I'm sure not against spearfishing, did some myself when I was a lot younger but I agree we gotta do something to stop it at Fish Lake during the spawn. I lived in Richfield from 1973 to 1984 & spent uncounted hours on Fish Lake. Love the place. With the cold water temps there, the growth rate has to be pretty slow so those trophy fish they're taking might well be older than the fishermen stabbin' them. That's another train of thought though. Mac are kinda in mode stupid during the spawn so are way too vulnerable at that time plus we gotta let them do their thing or we won't have a mac fishery before long. Don't think I said anything that hasn't already been said but I gotta chime in on this.
