I have a 1996 GMC sonoma (2 wheel drive, 2.2 L) that has been giving me some headlight problems lately. I will be driving it and the headlights and dashlights will go out and then come back on. The lights don't flicker or get dim, they just go off and then turn back on.

I have checked the fuse and it was fine. I have had some problems with a battery lately and was wondering if a bad battery would cause this???
