Best thing about a pontoon/tube is the ability to move and position hands free. Even in your raft you need to have hands on oars or on a trolling motor (unless you have a foot control).
Sounds like you need a tube plus you need to cut a section of floor out of your raft so you can dangle your feet under with some fins on!
