ice auger

I would appreciate some input on a good hand ice auger. I took the boys to a near by pond that is stock with trout in the winter. It was froze over but lucky for us someone had drilled some holes. We caught some trout and the boys had a blast. Next time we might not be so lucky so i'm thinking about a ice auger. I dont want order one and end up with a junk one but i also really dont want an expensive one. because I don't know how often i will need it or use it just depends on the weather.
