[cool][#0000ff]An interesting concept, but impractical. For the very small amount of reduction in wind-catching surface above water you would sacrifice a great deal in comfort and stability. However, if it works for you, that is all that is important.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I have had several trips...with the older model SFC...in which the bottom portion of the seat lost enough air that I was fishing at a lower altitude. The single greatest detriment was in having to keep repositioning myself towards the back of the seat, to keep from sliding out. When the seat is fully inflated it has a slight backward tilt, to help keep you comfortably in your seat. When it loses pressure you slide forward. When the seat got too low I had to leave the water because I could not fish without constant repositioning. That took a toll on my arms and back.[/#0000ff]
