super fat cat-leaking seat ??????
#10
There are a few ways to achieve this.
The air seat of the SFC is the simplest being part of a tube.

But any tube can have an inflatable cushion stuck with velcro to the mesh seat of the tube. The velcro is only to keep it in place while walking to the water and back.

Using this method sounds less elegant, but it does serve the purpose that on a windy day, you can simply let the air out, and lower your body which reduces your wind catching profile.

I do this in a Bucks Bag Bullet. This has a medium height ride, with the seat at the "awash by an inch and a half level" while occupied. I get the higher ride with the separate cushion in nice weather, and pull the plug when wind goes over eg Force 4, or a big swell suggests a lower centre of gravity might be more comfortable.

TD would you please let us know how the SFC feels and functions if the seat is deliberately deflated for such a reason.
I was thinking just about that- puting air cushion on top
of the rigit foam seat (maybe even two cushions).
If I dont like the extra air cushion I can always remove it.
That just maybe the way to go.
