Early Spring River Walleye

Hey guys, just wanted to ask what techniques you've found most effective on Spring Walleye. I usually go with a botttom bouncer set up or leeches if that doesn't work,and it's always in the river here, the nearby lake is targeted too heavily for them so it's quite harder there. However,the same guys won't hit the river like I do, since they don't wanna scratch their purdy fiberglass boats, my ole aluminum clunker gets me where I wanna go.
Just thought I would get your ideas and maybe some new techniques to try this year. Hope you're all doing well!
