[cool]Yes, the fishing is WAY better there in the summer and early fall, but you have to get in BETWEEN the weed beds where there's holes inbetween. If you are on top of a big weedbed you usually don't do very well, only for dink perch. If you find a hole in between the beds that is at least 9 or 10 feet deep, you generally do VERY well and usually don't have to move much else the rest of the day. Perch up to 11 inches and medium size to bigger gils can be caught in those areas. Oh yeah, largies too. One broke my ultralite rod last summer when I hooked him and he dove down into the weeds. Tried to horse him out (stupid me...) and snapped the rod...
