We ended January with some of the best fishing ever seen in Quepos.
During our last five outings of the month, we raised 8 Marlin, 35 Sailfish, 7 big and hard fighting amberjack, more tuna and dorado than could be counted, and 3 Cubera Snapper.
The big story is the Marlin. For weeks all the Quepos Captains have been reporting Marlin with several boats including the Estrella de Mar reporting 2 and 3 catches per trip. All these Marlin haven't dampened the sailfish bite. Estrella de Mar is reporting 8 - 11 Sailfish raised on each outing.
