RE:[#0000ff]My vote is to get the point around Lincoln Beach reopened to angler access. Some of the best multi species fishing on Utah Lake and you can only get to it from open water. Okay for boaters and tubers but a lot of others like to fish it too[/#0000ff]
According to the head man at State lands that talked to us last time, If we can get this access point at the "L" going, we will have LEGAL shoreline access all the way to at least third spring. The reason is that up to a certain elevation (settled in court), the state owns the shoreline up to that level. This level is marked out there by white pipes.
Trash is indeed one of the biggest problems we face with this project at any of the possible sites. Trash collection will be something that will need to be looked at as this progresses. If we could only post these areas "slobs keep out![:/]"
Thanks all for the input so far. Keep it coming.
