This morning I left the house at 5:30AM and made it Ririe around 6:00. We had all the poles and the ice house up by 7:00 and then it was just a matter of waiting for the Kokanee to come through.
We didn't have to wait long the Kokanee came in strong at 8:00 and hung around for the better part of two hours.
My neighbor and his five sons limited out before my wife and two younger sons along with two cousins even showed up. It was not long after that when we all had our limits. We cooked a good chili lunch on the stove and headed home around noon.
Besides the Kokanee we caught two perch, five trout, and a crayfish.
Overall this has been an incredible year on Ririe.
