Let's share some techniques for spring brown trout. I start targeting browns in early April. At that time of year we usually fish very shallow (10' or less) water and look for the pockets of "hot" water. To us at that time of year, "hot" water may be only 41-43 deg. F but it is warmer than any surrounding water. We find these pockets near stream outlets, near power plant outflows, on the lee side of outcroppings, etc. Let's hear a tip from you guys!!
