Actually Ogden, but what is 35 minutes LOL. Have you tried to call them and see where the nearest outlet is?
With all the Fly Fishing Expos and the ISE coming up, Dave or Larry are always there.[/quote]
No I haven't called them but maybe I will, I'll keep an eye out for them. There should be an expo in Boise real soon.
Don't know if I will buy one right away. My brother is giving me his spare pontoon boat so I may spend my money decking it out. I will post some pics when I get it.
It is one of the the very first one man pontoon "kick boats" made. It was called a "Fishing cat" and my brother sold them in his fly shop in Boise somewhere around the late 1980's - early 1990's I think.
They were the first ones my brother had ever seen and he used to go to Denver flyfishing industry show every year. The sales just took off like a rocket and they were immediately copied and quickly evovled into what we see today. My brother closed his store when Cabela's came to town and now works for them. Man I miss all the perks!
The pontoons are made from the best heavy duty whatewater raft material available at the time and the frame was bent from galvanized EMT conduit.
We fished these boats hard when they first came out and they work very well. Not a Class V boat or anything like that but great for most fishing water still or moving.
I should be getting it from him this weekend I think. I'll post some pics and the young folk cam see this "Model - T" of pontoon boats!
