I think I was fishing just north of your son, and Windriver was fishing just south of them. Funny how we where fairly close to them and fishing in the same depth and we never got into them. But watching them catching the kokes gave us hope a school would find us.
Sounds like a good recipe I'll have to give it a try.
So far my favorite salmon recipe is barbecue salmon with watermelon salsa.
Its really simple, fillet the fish and lightly season them with salt and pepper. Then bake them on a jelly role pan with about 16th inch of water in the bottom, 400 degrees 10 min or so. Then when they are cooked peel the skin off and give them a good coating of your favorite BBQ sauce. For the slasa you dice up some watermelon heart, cucumber with no seeds, red onion, honey due, and mint leaves, add a splash of apple cider vinegar, and then put a big spoon of this on the salmon. It sounds kinda weird but it is really really good.
