Fished for about an hour today on a brushpile close to the house. Used panfish assassins and crappie stingers and found the stingers to be a bit more productive. The water is way down and the top of the brushpile was at about a 3 count. Caught most of the fish right over the top of the pile but a bunch were next to the pile at a 5-6 count. All on 1/32oz jig heads. The stingers were pearl and the assassins had a shad pattern with black metal flake. I forgot the exact name. Most hits were pretty subtle and with the wind it was doubly hard to feel or even see the bites. If I got any idea that there might be a fish there I set the hook and often there was a fish on the line. When the bite is like that it makes me wonder how many strikes I missed. Caught 15 but none were keepers. The water has finally cleared up pretty well in the creek. Lots of CBA guys running around all day too.
