I know that vexilar has several models that are upgrades from that. Just go to vexilar.com. The've got FL-12, FL-18, Fl-20's. I'm not sure if there are more than that, but reading the specs on the newer ones I would think that they would be much better than the fl-8. However I've been impressed with the entry level ones when I've played with them.
