Fortunately, I do the left handed thing for the baitcasters, so it's worked out well for me.
Trying to decide if I should get another one, but seems most of my money right now is going into tuning up the boat. Had it out last weekend and after $300 or so of maintenance it runs great, but it now looks like the alternator is dying. So...here we go again. Fix one thing, 2 more things break.
As far as the Curado / Chronarch MG comparison, I bought a 100 series Curado for my dad last year. My friend also has a 200 series Curado, and it's treated him very well. Nice reel. Nearly identical to the Chronarch in size, appearance and functionality. The only real difference is the weight. The MG is lighter as it's made of Magnesium.
