Okay, so I gots another question. Obviously still a newbie to all this! [:p] LOL
When you measure water temperature, does it have to be relatively deep? Or would sticking an aquarium thermometer in the shoreline water work just as good? I would assume not, because it's more shallow and therefore more easily warmed up by the sunshine. On the other hand, it's not like the water is completely stagnant, and does get 'cycled' by stuff like wind and boat wakes. So I'm not sure what to go on.
Or should I just not bother?, since bank fishing doesn't seem to be such a big deal compared to trolling.
