Newton Update 4/8

Did a drive by at Newton today. It is about 90% ice free. A couple of big patches are across the lake. Looks like a person could make it through one but the other is questionable. Plenty of fishing area and the ramp is in the water. I am sure the water temp is pucker up cold! I imagine the fish will still be in ice fishing areas. LC
