[cool][#0000ff]After I put up my last response to you, I reread your post and it occurred to me that an auto industry product would probably have some kind of aggressive solvent in it...to help it bond to a tough primer coat and color coat. If you are using acrylics or enamels for your paint patterns, that stuff would probably liquify it without a protective coat. And, it is probably thin enough that it does not leave much solid material behind when it dries...thus requiring some filler before you can achieve a smooth finish.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Since I use mostly the vinyl paints, I do not use an airbrush. It is almost impossible to thin down enough to spray without compromising the coverage. So, my stuff is all hand painted. Sometimes not showroom quality, but the fish don't seem to mind.[/#0000ff]
