Bass rods: What arm? My bouncers don't have an arm nore will they lay over even at a dead stop if you have the right amount of line out.
I don't build conventional bouncers. Using an L shaped bouncer is like going back to the horse and buggy days.
Just like the preverbial mouse trap there is a better bouncer than the L shaped ones.
So I beg to differ with your "not quite true" comment.
I don't want to butt heads with you but I've been fishing walleyes probably as long as you've been fishing bass

I'm sure if you would have a chance to see my custom bouncers in action you would agree they work better than the arm type and don't lay over.
