Ok I went to the " four corners ponds" as I have come to call them, sunday a.m. and today p.m. Sunday morning I got to the first one and threw a swimbait, nada. Threw a worm, nada. Threw a horny toad and BOOM!!! It was the meal ticket. Caught 12 in less than an hour and lost two others at the first stop. decided to move on to the next and caught three more and and lost one. I noticed real quick that I had to wait 5-6 seconds b4 hookset or I pulled the frog out of their mouth. Not any major weights but many fish emoBigSmile which I has happy with. The fish caught at the first pond was all bulls and none over 2.5#. The second pond I could see that they are still on beds and pay me no attention what so ever, no matter what I put in front of their face. The first pond I believe they are in post spawn b/c I didnt see them on beds and they were more " protective" of a certain little area a few weeks ago when I went. The others are still on spawn b/c they are still protecting their beds. This afternoon I went to all three again and got one bite on the frog but missed the hookset. Threw the frog, worms, swimbaits, lizards, and only one bite. emoDoh Sad maybe next time. I got one pic from sunday a.m. but didn't feel like posting it to photobucket to get the html thread to put here. sorry guys I'm ready for the bed. BTW I am talking about the ponds behind the holcombs, subway, O charley's, which have became more popular in the last year it seems like. until next time tight lines everyone!! emoToast <br />
