Started the day a little bit on the slow side, got up later than I wanted to and was late getting on the water. It turned out to be a great day on the lake not a lot of traffic and the fish were cooperating for a change. Water temps ranged from 68 to 72 degrees depending on shallow or deeper water. Caught fish on everything I threw today from plastics to buzz baits. Had fun catching several slicks on the buzz bait, they were chasing shad in shallow water and putting on a show. Ended up catching 21 on the buzz bait, nothing of any size, but sure was fun. found fish from shallow , one foot, to 15 feet deep today and they were really taking the lures not just swiping at them. bet five would push 15 lbs so for me was a pretty good day, best fish was a ounce over 4 lbs, pic, ended up putting 43 in the boat today and had several come off right at the boat. I know a certain crank bait that will have some new trebles on it by tommorrow.... I thought that my dad was going to join me today but he couldn't make it. Fun day to be out on the water.
