DAV'S Fishing Days Help...

So I am just reading about this for the first time. I have no idea if I can make it and I'm about to spend around $600 on the boat to get back to the Berry for the first time in 2 years. Hopefully I can get some practice in before then so I can learn to catch fish there again, and I'm very unfamiliar with fishing the Soldier Creek side.
Anyway, do you have any guestimate on how many boats you are going to need? How many people (vets) are expected to show?
