[font "Arial"][#000000][size 2]Meadow Creek Pond in Roy, UT is a beautiful park, but ly, it seems to be fished-out. I spent all of Saturday evening and much of this morning bobbing in this pond with chicken livers. But, neither me, nor anyone else (30 0r so fishermen) even got a single bite. In fact, the only thing catching fish were the multitudes of ducks and geese. So, I guess there are some fish in there...but it's extremely slim pickings. I didn't even see a few small panfish on the shoreline, which is usually a healthy fishing sign. I think the panfish have been rendered extict, or near extinction, thanks to the ducks, pollution...and who knows what else. Roy City Parks & Recreation really needs to do something about restocking this pond, or else, the fishermen will soon be extinct too.
