That's the area I usually fish when I'm down there. The thing I have been told and then learned is the cats will like to hold a certain depth at different times. I kind of move shallow to deep moving along until I find the right depth for the day. They might like right against the weeds they may be out at 7ft. You just have to keep working until you find them.
