Went out on my lake (Stansbury Park) this evening and was messing around with a 4" soft jerkbait targeting LMB. I landed 2 but hooked into 6. I lost the 4 about 10 feet from shore and one I landed was barely hooked. I am pretty inexperienced with jerkbaits and would like to hear your feedback. I could clearly feel the bites and felt like I was getting a good hookset. The hook was new and sharp. What am I doing wrong and how different is this bait fished from "traditional" LMB baits? Thanks in advance...
