Don't worry, it has not be good for me this year either. I've been out 3 times and I only had one big one follow my lure but no take. I'm still crossing my fingers and planning on trying when the water is warm and others start to have more success.
I combed a vast section of the reservior one day and it is true, there are large schools of small fish in the narrows. Larger fish were hanging around them, and I got to depth with a downrigger but they were probably stuffed with baby crappie and perch. This was two weeks ago, and they were 40 to 70 feet deep. I think the narrows and sections of shoreline close to that area are the best bet for any muskies at the moment.
