Wow you are good!!!! Wasn't it you who noticed the "secret" gill pattern at mantua a couple days ago? It took me years to figure out a pattern for wipers and yes it is very close to what you are describing except I find it only on the 2nd day. After that dead.....before that dead. Well, relatively speaking, but if they don't bite every five minutes or less preferably, whatever the species, it's dead to me and not worthwhile. lol.
