Sand Hollow is a great spot! Yes, there is good fishing from shore. Th whole east side is a good area for shore fishing- lots of weeds and shallow water. My kayak buddy Alex just went last week, and he had great success tossing crankbaits and spinnerbaits. Just be careful out there. The dune sand is dangerous. I watched it claim a 4x4 Jeep Wrangler. Dont turn down any roads until you walk them to see if it is hard pack. The stuff that is hard though, you dont need 4x4 for.
