Interesting how lures have evolved over the years. When I was a kid (over half a century ago) my goal was to somehow find the coins to buy a couple of genuine Flatfish, a couple of Colorado spinners, and a Jitterbug for bass. And when the new space-age material called fiberglass came out to replace my old telescoping metal pole I could not wait to get one. Now I look at the lures being manufactured and hand made and they are so realistic the fish can't resist them. And rods that can cost hundreds of dollars....... wow! Times have changed, as have fishing lures and rods.
Interesting thread and some purty lures being made and used.
