I've got a pattern at a local reservoir here in the spring that is basically trolling cranks in 5 feet of water for walleyes and I was running the Ripshad about 50 feet of line out and it would every now and then tap the bottom. Of course that was on 12 lb. test. I don't think it dives as much as they say of course it could have been out of tune. LOL
