When it comes to the new sage bass/bluegill rods, its
not just the rod but ALSO the fly line. Its made to deliver
big and heavy flies and bugs. Nothing delicate, just
big stuff. The line comes with the rod.
I like it a lot for the big stuff. I dont think that I would be
using it for 8'' trout [
