Hear Ye, Hear Ye, Hear Ye. Disabled Veterans Fishing Event News
#22
I troll almost exclusively with hammered silver/gold, four blade pop gear, about a 24" leader of low vis green mono in 6 or 8 lb test and a #2 or #4 worm hook. I thread a worm up the hook so that it appears to be going through the water like a snake rather than wacky rigging it. You can use any type of terminal gear though, like rapalas.

With the weather as warm as it has been you will need to troll deep, about 25 to 40 feet depending on the areas. I sometimes add an ounce of weight to the rudder on the front of the pop gear and troll back of the boat 150' or I use downriggers to get to the right depth. You want to troll SLOW for trout about 1 mph, faster for Kokanee, about 2.0 mph

Hope this helps. I don't do much jigging so maybe somoene else can help you there.
