Ya, saw that. I was freaking out the day they had 18,671, I thought it must have been some kind of typo. Those were some pretty good details you threw in too on the record. where did you get that info? Allow me to add a few details of my own: the previous record was 14,432 set on 8/3/2001, so the record wasn't really 71 years old per-say, but had been the largest daily steelhead passage since they built Bonneville ~72 years ago and started counting fish (1938).

2001 was the largest annual steelhead passage at Bonneville, and we are still currently about 29,000 behind that year to date. But I think if we keep going the way we're going, and have a strong B run component (they are supposed to start crossing around the 26th of Aug), we should definately surpass that year. Either way I think we are a shoe-in for second place.
