So you guys must have gotten into them in another area. Dang drift boat is not much of an explorative craft so I just kept inside my comfort zone with the shore and my truck in sight. I would hate to be blown all the way on the other side of saleratus wash and then have to call for help. I saw the wind pick up from a dead calm morning to a frikin blistering sand storm and 3-4 foot white caps. I did end up catching a few small walleye and one whopper perch. I bet Sunday was good though with all the cloud cover. It was nice to meet you Bob and nice to see you again Todd and Chad. Sorry I diddnt make it to your camp guys I had to work a lot later than I planned on so I decided to bag that Idea. Maybe next time. BTW I diddnt catch any walleye on bottom bouncers but I did catch a smallmouth. My walleye/perch were caught on a wobble/swimming jig head and a half a night crawler while I anchored up in the mud flats just past the channel. Go figure...... how was the night fishing did anybody try cranks?
