Pete Jr. and I fished from 5-7:45. We had a very good evening. The flow was 72,500 cfs and the water temp. was 72. The length and weight of the fish are described in the pictures.

The biggest smallie, the 4.75 pounder was caught on a DD22 in 15 ft. of water from a natural rock shoreline. A big catfish also hit the DD22 in the same area, but pulled off (lots of slime on the line). All the other fish were caught on rip-rap with spinner baits, Gitzits and jig/pigs. Several smaller smallies and spots and a redeye were also caught.

A couple of interesting fish were the 17.5 in. meanmouth and the genetically disturbed smallie. The meanmouth had some faint markings like a spotted bass, but a smooth Tongue. The strange smallie was very short for its weight, but fought very hard.

All fish were released.
